Applications for funding are submitted annually to offer these programs through a variety of funding sources including the Governor's Workforce Board Real Skills for Youth, and local Community Development Block Grants (CDBG).
NOTE: Pawtucket Summer Youth Police Academy - Due to COVID-19 and the hands-on nature of the training, SER-Jobs and the Pawtucket Police Department have agreed to postpone the training until next summer (contingent on funding). We want training to be both fun and safe for everyone. Thank you to the City of Pawtucket for approving CDBG funds for this exciting program!
Providing job search assistance and referrals for those reentering the community from prison. Although SER-Jobs works with many ex-offenders in each of its other programs, this program was designed exclusively for those exiting prison, in partnership with Probation and Parole. Originally funded by SER-Jobs for Progress (2018-2019), we seek to restart these vital services with new funding.
Coming Soon! SER-Jobs is in the process of bringing on CISCO instructors to help those interested in getting CISCO Network (CCNA) Certified.
