Provided for low-to-moderate income minority women looking to start a business, and who are residents of Pawtucket, this program provides free rent and office space, guidance and educational business resources for up to 1-year at SER's headquarters in Pawtucket. This program is funded in part through a Community Development Block Grant by the City of Pawtucket.

Personnel placement solutions for Rhode Island employers looking to fill temporary-to-permanent job openings. Unlike traditional staffing agencies, our goal is to find permanent employment for our clientele and there are no fees for hiring our workers!
Engaging youth in work readiness and subsidized worksite experiences/internships. Applications for funding are submitted annually to offer these programs through a variety of funding sources including the Governor's Workforce Board Real Skills for Youth, and local Community Development Block Grants (CDBG).
Providing job search assistance and referrals for those reentering the community from prison. Although SER-Jobs works with many ex-offenders in each of its other programs, this program was designed exclusively for those exiting prison, in partnership with Probation and Parole. Originally funded by SER-Jobs for Progress (2018-2019), we seek to restart these vital services with new funding.
